Oftentimes when we start to work on something new, or life throws a curveball and we have to slow down for a moment to regroup, strategize, or push through it. That feeling of making it through, that feeling of knowing or not knowing you could do it, and seeing it finally come together is priceless. The cycling phrase 'Back on’ is a term used in racing. It describes when a rider has fallen back from the group but manages to rejoin it. I thought that would be an excellent starting point for this figure. The Mookie is Back on figure is a celebration of making it through and catching back up to where you're supposed to be. Something I have done often in my career as an artist and vocalist experimenting and pushing boundaries. So, let's get back on! I only made 11 of these, each one is hand sculpted with polymer clay, hand painted and signed on a wooden base, that reads 'Back on’. The character is rocking a Mookie pizza delivery shirt, basketball shorts, a long bill, fly sneakers, a watch, and Nefertiti is cut into the back of his head. The figure is riding a very cool bicycle customized by USUWE This is my fourth character release. Enjoy!!! Enjoy!!!
