I always wanted to create a piece that captured the essence of stepping in Chicago. This piece was inspired by an album cover I did for a singer, who was making some traditional steppers music. I thought about all the places I have seen people step, from the ball rooms to Mr. G's, to the family functions. I thought about all the different types of people I have seen on the dance floor, from jeans to tailored suit and amazing flowing gowns gliding across the floor effortlessly. I really love how this piece came out and I hope the people who collect this series tressure it as much as I do.
